About RTÉ Junior

Listen to the online radio of RTÉ Junior live, which launched officially in 2008 and operates as the radio service for the youngest generations. RTÉ Jr is in the ownership of Raidió Teilifís Éireann which is Ireland's Natinal Public Service Broadcaster.
RTE Junior Radio targets the 2-7 age group, so it focuses on children orientated programmes, and serves a wide variety of children music, storytelling, news and poetry. Every day of the week the programming for children starts from 7am and ends at 9pm, the rest of the time - from 9pm to 7am, RTÉ Chill's broadcast fills the night-time. In specialist music programmes classical, world and traditional music are aired.

DAB digital radio broadcasting ends in Ireland

Today marks the end of DAB digital radio transmissions in Ireland as RTÉ switches off its services on the platform.
