About RTÉ Junior

Listen to the online radio of RTÉ Junior live, which was officially launched in 2008 and operates as the radio service for the youngest generations. RTÉ Jr is owned by Raidió Teilifís Éireann, which is Ireland's National Public Service Broadcaster. RTE Junior Radio targets the 2-7 age group, focusing on children-oriented programmes and offering a wide variety of children's music, storytelling, news, and poetry. Programming for children runs from 7am to 9pm every day of the week, with RTÉ Chill's broadcast filling the nighttime hours from 9pm to 7am. In specialist music programmes, classical, world, and traditional music are featured.

DAB digital radio broadcasting ends in Ireland

Today marks the end of DAB digital radio transmissions in Ireland as RTÉ switches off its services on the platform.
