About Tipp FM

Listen to the online radio of Tipp FM live, which launched in 1989 as a local commercial radio station operating from its Clonmel studios. The station is owned by Tipp FM. Tipp FM serves its home county as the most reliable local station, engaging in discussions on locally relevant topics and politics. Listeners can also express their opinions through phone-ins, adding variety to the talk shows. The news bulletins provide listeners with hourly updates on local, national, and international news, sports, local travel, and weather information. In addition to verbal segments in its programme structure, Tipp FM doesn’t lack music in its broadcasts. It primarily features pop, country, and Irish music from the last 40 years, but there is no strict genre restriction in the lineup. The station kicks off the weekday mornings of the Premier County from 6am to 9am with "Good Morning Tipperary", hosted by Andrew Looby.

JNLR: 81% of the population listen to radio every day

The latest radio listening figures show 81% of the population are tuning in every day, which translates into weekday figures of 3.2 million listeners.
