About LMFM
Listen to the online radio of LMFM live, which began its broadcast in 1989 from its studios in Drogheda. The station is owned by the Wireless Group. The radio station won the "IMRO Local Station of the Year 2017" award due to its extensive programme structure, which offers a delightful blend of talk and music programmes. The broadcaster engages in wide-ranging discussions covering diverse topics including news, sports, politics, society, culture, health and fitness, television, movies, arts, and education, among others. LMFM news also provides locally relevant news, sports updates, travel information, and traffic reports throughout the day. The playlist is equally colourful, featuring pop music from the last 30 years as the regular and main element. Additionally, it includes country, classical, jazz, 80s hits, chillout songs, and both new and classic Irish music to complete the music repertoire. The station's mission is to discover and promote new Irish bands and talents, providing them with national exposure through the radio and its social media network once a month. The station launches the weekdays with "The Breakfast Show with Chris Murray", airing from 6am to 9am.
